Georgia stunned at home
Unranked Auburn beat Georgia 27-24 at Sanford Stadium on a field goal as time ran out, according to Sports Illustrated. It was Georgia's first loss, dropping the Bulldogs to 6-1, and ended a run of 93 straight home wins over unranked opponents.
In Bloomington, No. 4 Ohio State beat Indiana 19-15. SI reported that the loss ended the Hoosiers' 22-game winning streak, and that the finish turned on an out-of-bounds ruling on a possible winning touchdown.
Later Saturday night, No. 8 BYU beat Notre Dame 28-24. Unranked Florida beat No. 7 Texas, and No. 14 Tennessee handled No. 6 Alabama. No. 3 Miami stayed unbeaten, but only after two overtimes against Florida State.
