Diesel stays high
Diesel has eased far more slowly than gasoline, falling less than 3 cents in a week. That matters for truckers and farmers. One Kansas farm family told CBS News that higher diesel and fertilizer costs added about $737,000 to its expenses this year.
Closer to home
In Massachusetts, the average for regular was $4.181 on Saturday, about the same as the national figure, AAA data show. Among the states AAA highlighted, Hawaii was the most expensive at $5.665.
