What is on the ballot
Sen. Jon Ossoff, a Democrat, faces Republican Rep. Mike Collins. Ossoff is the only Democratic senator running in a state President Trump won in 2024, CBS News Atlanta noted. The governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state and attorney general races all have new candidates.
In the governor's race, Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms faces Republican Rick Jackson, Fox News reported. Former President Barack Obama campaigned with Ossoff and Bottoms on Wednesday in Morrow.
If you still need to vote
Early voting runs until 7 p.m. Friday at designated sites in a voter's home county, CBS News Atlanta reported. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
