The Patriots appear headed to Chicago without both of their starting guards.
Ben Brown (knee) and Alijah Vera-Tucker (hamstring) did not practice Monday or Tuesday, according to the team's injury report, and Field Level Media reported both are unlikely to play Thursday. Both were hurt in Sunday's 26-19 win over the Jets.
New England also placed receiver Romeo Doubs on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, Field Level Media reported.
Some good news
Cornerback Carlton Davis III returned to practice on a limited basis after missing two games with a neck injury. Quarterback Drake Maye, listed with a right shoulder issue, was a full participant both days, as were running back TreVeyon Henderson and tackle Will Campbell.
Both teams are 4-2.
